Is anyone an experienced stock checkererer? I am considering buying an unfinished Monte Carlo stock for my over under and installing fitting and finishing it. I can do all of that but the checkering is something I have never attempted and watching some videos on it the concept is simple enough but I see lots of room for fing it up. Tooling costs would put me into the range of having it professionally done.
