I have bought mags from Mike and his family over the years at a number of Tanner Shows. His son is very knowledgeable about unusual mags that are hard to find. The kids all help out and are home schooled so they can travel to different shows. In all the years I have dealt with them they have never had any firearms for sale at their booth. This is the dealer that uses the pop rivet in all of his 15 plus round mags. I would think if they are being investigated for anything it is for selling high cap mags, including drums, that have been modified to only accept 15 rounds. But I don’t have any first had knowledge about their status at the Tanner.

Yes, that's where his tables were set up at the Denver Tanner. Sold mags; lots of them modified 30 rounders. He hasn't been there for the past few months. Heard a few things today, but won't repeat as I have no clue as to their validity. Could all be rumors.

It doesn't make any sense, there's not enough money in any of those transactions to risk any attention from the ATF.

I think the one article was dated 1999.

Found guilty of 16 federal felonies in 2001 and lost his appeal in 2001. Sentenced to 3 years in federal prison. Original spelling of last name is Meienberg; looks like there are records reflecting the change in spelling to Meinberg. Both spellings are associated with the same address.
