I especially love the posts about coyote posts.

If they'd just let us shoot them, they'd have less to worry about. The coyotes around here have snatched several dogs. A 16 year old girl was attacked earlier this year too while walk her large dogs.

I'm in my office right now looking at a perfect backstop in "open space" and see them often.

My post last week. " I kindly ask you you no longer allow your cats to roam outdoors. My pet coyote is getting overweight and recently got a collar stuck in his bowel." It was met met mixed reactions.

Yes!!! That's where the handyman post was corrected. They are good.

We are probably neighbors. I am in HR but our neighborhood admin set us up as Lone Tree. I can see Acres Green from my house.

Hey, neighbor! I'm in Acres Green, but I can stand on the corner of our property and laugh at the traffic on Quebec...

And I have never laughed so hard as I did when the Willow Creekers found out a Hooters was opening up off of County Line. Oh, the petitions and the hand-wringing!

That was great! Didn't they start a petition? I think that's the most conservative Hooters I've seen. You can't even see in from the street and the signage isn't very visible. Better than a vacant building.

You can probably see my house too!

ETA: And I think they started a petition on what to do with the old Safeway on County Line as well (which I miss). They were demanding it become a Trader Joes or Whole Foods (I think).

They DID start a petition- way, way too late to do anything about it turning into a Hooters.

And yes, they wanted to do something about the Safeway building, but they’ve got no say in that, either. That thread had so many replies and snotty posts. It was a relief when it finally died.
