So my German Shepherd hates his kennel. He pretty much willingly goes in it. Is calm when I come home to let him out. But while we are away he works at it trying to get out. Never have been able to get him to tolerate it better.

Last 2 days he's fought going in the kennel. This after it being pretty routine for more than a year. Wife came home to find he managed to rip out one of his side teeth along the jawline. (Never noticed it before but he's missing the same one on the far side that is long gone as theres no sign of wound.

He acts fine, but whines if I open his mouth to look. Just a crater where it was and no bleeding. Tooth looks mostly whole, but I'd say the very tip of the root perhaps still in or just lost in the dim light on the floor/swallowed.

File this under dumb dog but fairly routine like messing up a toenail or omg get to da vet? Was due to see a vet for a teeth cleaning anyways but wasn't planning on it for a few weeks yet.
