Default Colorado Springs Guns & Ammo: Powers & N Carefree

Actually a block to the east, turn in at the light for Target and you'll see the big red "guns" sign to the right.

I was actually heading to the really good Thai place for lunch in that strip of stores, and spotted a whole new gun store. Folks were nice enough when I walked in, they didn't have super-duper prices or selection but hey they weren't rude which is more than certain retailers in town can claim.

Not quite sure what, if any, niche of the market they are going for.

Not much of a review, just posting "I saw it first"

Colorado Springs Guns and Ammo. Very nice staff during my visit. Firearms seemed way over priced. Happy they are in the neighborhood, wish they weren't the highest prices I've ever seen. 639 for Glock pistols - makes Specialty seem like a bargain. Had 22LR in stock, wouldn't sell it unless you bought a 22LR firearm.

It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.

Always glad to have another shop in town and wish them the best. Going to be a tough go for them with prices like that I'm afraid.

I would think if someone wanted to corner a niche here it would be to the "tactical" crowd. I want someone in town to stock AR parts. Springs, triggers, pins, etc. not just a magpul stock here or there. Something like a Bowers Tactical would be nice here.

Saw the storefront a couple weeks ago when i was in Smashburger. Seems hinky that they wont sell 22lr unless you buy a RF gun. Dont get that.....

That was Bravo Arms. The staff and the selection was awesome. Once they opened I never went to Specialty unless Bravo was closed.

Update. Colorado Springs Guns and Ammo was broken into several weeks ago. Vehicle used to remove doors from building. Thieves got away with 28 firearms. According to staff, ATF has recovered 2 so far.

Well my original comment was a couple of years ago but yes I have been in Livefire. It's been a while but honestly when I stopped by they didn't have a whole lot of anything there. Maybe they have a better inventory now? I did call them looking for a Magpul stock (SL-K) a couple days ago, no go. I used to deal with him a lot when he was a home based FFL though.

On a side note Springs Guns and Ammo also opened a store in Falcon. I stopped by today. Nice store, friendly staff but again kind of overpriced for the seasoned buyer. They did have a $3500 SCAR 17 though Lol! (Yes I know they are hard to come by right now but not impossible)
