    Default Vortex flip-up lens covers

**Update** While it seems many businesses prefer emails, I called Vortex yesterday. The nice guy on the phone apologized that I never received a reply, said he didn't have any suggestions about keeping the caps on the red dots but is sending two new sets. I told him I appreciated that.**

Both my son and I have recently had issues with the flip-up covers of our Sparc IIs dropping off our carbines during very mild range outings. No "running and gunning", just standing stationary or on a rest and the things go flying off. Sent an email to Vortex asking for any suggestions almost two weeks ago, no response yet. Not a huge deal though it is nice to have the covers on them when walking about on my friends property to his range when it's raining/snowing lol.

I keep some defensive scopes covered with clear plastic bags and rubber bands. In a pinch there is no need to flip anything out of the way. Yes your new optic view will look like a forty year old TASCO scope. Still much better then a plastic disk.
