End of my Finnish season 2009

I ended my personal hunting season 2009 in Finland yesterday.
I was thinking to go home. I already started to put scope cover back on, when I saw him started running 50-60 yards away.
I had my fingers touching the scope cover and my rifle was still loaded, so I was able to make the shot before he disappeared

Result is a nice roebuck, age propably 2-3 years.

Firearm; Steyr SSG .308 T + Zeiss Diavari 6-24x56
Ammo used; handload with Hornady 150gr Interbond and almost full can of BL-C(2).

That looks like a small target while running for a 6-24 scope.

Sorry about that, but I have a few reasons why I do not want to present my face on a public forum.

That rifle and scope are mainly for shooting range and for stalking game.
Here in Finland we shoot most our whitetails and roe deers after sunset - big scope with good glass and illuminated reticle are needed then.

My big game rifle and IPSC Open AR-15 have 1-6x scopes with illuminated reticles for close and medium close range work :



Clearly the best low power scopes on the market, by the way.
