Don't know if this is even a competitive price compared to local or other on line places. Seems like everyone is doing decent end of year sales, again.

For the M&P M1.0 version, you can buy a Reset Assist Mechanism (RAM), but only for specific models that have the internal locking system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmSf...Tl-d3baHfAZGSQ. This excludes .45, VTAC, and/or manual safety versions. For the M2.0, there is no internal locking system (that I've found). The Glock reset is renown for sure, and I love my Glock's, but the M&P ergonomics are (for me) far better. There is no perfect pistol out there.

I paid $419 plus $8.95 shipping from GrabAGun, so for me it was a great price for the M2.0 Compact. Quantico Tactical has a great price on a 3-pack of mags (15 rounds) for the M2.0 Compact (http://www.quanticotactical.com/asp/...M2.0%20Compact).
I added the Trijicon HDs (of course) - they really round out what I feel is a top notch carry pistol.

And with my original M&P VTAC with the Apex upgrade, the trigger is still basically as you described. The Apex is much smoother and lighter, but still mushy and unpredictable in my opinion. Now my shield is awesome with the Apex. Really looking forward to trying the 2.0C

Pulled the pin a 2.0 compact, finally. (Thanks Noah) Dumped 300 rounds through it on Friday. Love it! It cycled everything just fine. I normally run 124 grain Double Tap for carry ammo. It don’t like that so much. Cycled fine, but point of aim, point of impact was way off with it. Any recommendations on carry ammo so I can narrow it down? Thanks!
try the 147 xtp's

or

If the heavier doesn't work to your liking then go this route. I "believe" ruger and sig have the same round, branded under their name.

I'm happy with the 147's gr in the G43. While this light round performed fairly close , grouping wise.

Having had a variety of the M&Ps (down to one 5” Pro with the Apex fss and aluminum trigger) I’ve run both the 124 and 147 weight Federal HST and haven’t noticed any real differences out to 20 yards for what that’s worth.
