In my opinion, no. This show is much slower, and I don't like the way Frank has evolved since his appearance on Daredevil.

I don't mind slow at all. I just didn't like the character of Daredevil and I didn't like that the characters never set down and talked to each other like real best friends would. Not that the character development wasn't realistic, I just got sick of everything, kind of like Longmire. It also bothered me that every scene depicting New York at night was so clearly just a light shining through a piece of yellow/orange paper suck to a window.

Well there is a fair amount of sitting down and talking to each other in this show. And a lot of stabbing in between.

Just started Season 2 of Stranger things, great so far, hopefully it won't be terribly long before season 3, otherwise I may start to lose interest.

It's suppose to be dark. He's The Devil Of Hells Kitchen. We thought they caught the vibe as well as seedier side of brooklyn fairly well.

I'll say that since I posted that I've gotten to Episode 8, and Jesus it's gruesome. I just finished Episode 11 and this is what I was expecting when I heard the show got greenlit.

You told me it was dark, so that's what I was expecting. Instead it was more like low budget.
