You'll be glad you did. Sorry for not making it clear it was a prime original.

Promising start, thanks for the tip. And don’t be sorry, any 3rd grader would’ve known exactly what you were talking about. I just seem to have attained an exceptional level of retard tonight. On to episode 2!

Great tip - this show is hilarious and draws you in, in a perfectly dry, offbeat manner (without trying too hard to be that way). I?m hooked.

Maybe The Last Kingdom? If so, it is based on a series of books by Bernard Cornwell- http://www.bernardcornwell.net/the-l...saxon-stories/

Cornwell is best known for his Richard Sharpe stories based on the British Army in India and during the Napoleonic wars in Portugal, Spain, and Belgium. He is an excellent historical fiction writer IMO and if you can get past the formulaic mode of his writing, and have a love for history, the books are well worth the read.

I haven't seen all of the film adaptation of his books. Most of them do a poor job of finding actors who actually look/sound anything like the characters in the books.

    Yep. Last Kingdom. That's it.

Liked the previous season well enough but I'm just not getting it this year. Two episodes in & I don't know or care what's happening.

Just finished 'Altered Carbon'. Story line is well done, some thought provoking ideas. Overall, a good series.

Currently on Season-3 of 'Luther', Idris Elba as a British detective. Outstanding series with a defective detective and an overarching good vs. evil, with a splash of Holmes vs. Moriarty twist. The episodes are not entirely stand-alone, you really need to start from the beginning.

Season 4 is suppose to be a 2 hr show, like the Sherlock Holmes on PBS were. I'm hoping they do a 4-5 hour in 1 hr episodes.
Luther is another one of those sleeper shows only the brits can do well.
Idris Elba was good as Stringer Bell in The Wire, he hasn't disappointed in this or a few others things we've seen him in.

If you like Anime, ONE PUNCH MAN doesn't suck. Friend of mine told me they just announced a second season which is how I found out about it. I don't have to wait 4 years like the rest. Netflix. Ha!

Friend showed my One Punch Man. It's great if you have anime experience. There is another Netflix original called Ajin that is fantastic. I've recommend it before, but it was before you were around. Two seasons of Ajin. Ajin is more modern guns than martial arts.

I don't think its a requirement, though it would certainly give context to the parodies of all the characters. If someone doesn't know, I don't think it takes away from the brilliant interest & disinterest of hero from Saitama. Plus the mostly subtle adult humor is refreshing. I like all the random images in the opening credits that have absolutely nothing to do with the tv series too. Just good fun.
