    Cool picture's, seems like there SF guys prefer x39 only one has a 5.54.

    You guys are confusing me. I thought all Russia had was x39. I can see by the curve in the mags that they likely are using 7.62x39 and I don’t see any mags with the more gradual curve of the 5.45x39. However, I’m not familiar with this 5.54 you’re talking about. I would agree that they definitely have a something x39.

    Get with the times man, 554 is Russia's new deplete uranium tipped round in the 40 watt range. �� I did mean 5.45, the guy on the left in the third pict appears to have a 5.45 rifle.

    I think you may be right, what’s throwing me off is the guy in the middle of the third pic may have a 40rd mag.

    Here’s a pic of my 7.62 with a 30rd and my 5.45 with a 30. Slight difference in the curves is subtle but definitely there.

    Guys see those cans on the end. You can't suppress 5.45 very well. That is the only reason for 7.62x39.
