Everyone please keep in mind that these are NOT legal in CO and won't be legal until August 9, 2017. If you plan to acquire one before that date you need to keep that to yourselves.

Wasn't trying to stiffle the conversation on auto knives, just advising everyone be smart about posting anything you may acquire before the Aug 9 change in the law.

When I can go to a local shop and fondle them I'll be buying one. Until then I'll just research and see what I might want.

I have a Ganzo auto that I found on eBay. Surprised with the quality of build & durability. Not bad for a sub $25 knife!

Everybody on the internet carries them though and probably always have.

They have always been legal to collect. Legally, possession =/= buying or collecting. You need need a law permitting you to do something that is not illegal.

Got a microtech on a trade a long time ago and did not like it. OTF in general is a flimsy design.

Some won't, but a lot of companies will.

Been looking at a bunch of autos on the internet lately. I don't need another knife but a nice auto might be nice for these arthritic hands.

I'm getting one. No real reason other than I can. So I figure why not.

    Sorry. Never saw this post.

Anyhow, still not sure what I want. I do knowing I am not looking at any of the OTF styles. Too bad as I see there are several for sale in the trading post already.
