    Everyone please keep in mind that these are NOT legal in CO and won't be legal until August 9, 2017. If you plan to acquire one before that date you need to keep that to yourselves.

    Wasn't trying to stiffle the conversation on auto knives, just advising everyone be smart about posting anything you may acquire before the Aug 9 change in the law.

    When I can go to a local shop and fondle them I'll be buying one. Until then I'll just research and see what I might want.

    I have a Ganzo auto that I found on eBay. Surprised with the quality of build & durability. Not bad for a sub $25 knife!

    18-12-102. Possessing a dangerous or illegal weapon – affirmative defense

    (j) “Switchblade knife” means any knife, the blade of which opens automatically by hand pressure applied to a button, spring, or other device in its handle.
    They have always been legal to collect. Legally, possession =/= buying or collecting. You need need a law permitting you to do something that is not illegal.

    Got a microtech on a trade a long time ago and did not like it. OTF in general is a flimsy design.

    Been looking at a bunch of autos on the internet lately. I don't need another knife but a nice auto might be nice for these arthritic hands.
