Figures they don't have the base model I would buy. OOS

Customize costs $50 more for the same knife. While the discount helps offset that a little, I can't bear to pay more for the same thing just so someone can build what they should have in stock.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

MrPrena, we have similar tastes. I also have a similar Boker and Kershaw. I like the Kerahaw much more than the Boker. Then I got a Benchmade, and I like it even more than the Kershaw. But they each have their role, and get carried accordingly. A couple things I like less about the Benchmade, but I’ll figure it out.

    Nice benchmade there! (rukus?)
    I would agree. Launch5>Boker ak74 knives.
I started very late on EDC Knife (3q this year), and It saves me so much time having one. I do not need to look for box cutter/scissors 3+ times per day now.

Yeah, that’s the Rukus II (auto reincarnation of the Rukus). It has a silly little safety that likes to engage itself, and I’ll probably epoxy that in place. Also, the button on it is a bit tall and tries to rip the fingernail off my pinky when I put my hand in my pocket, but I’ll get used to it. The Benchmade also has the sharpest edge from the factory I’ve ever had. And I agree, carrying a knife comes in handy every single day, and I feel like an idiot on the rare instances when I don’t have one on me, but need one.

Bumping this up, been looking close at the Kershaw launch 4 as my first auto, it's unusually small, but seems really pocket able and CA compliant is handy for the times I'm out there. I really like the blade profile and handle shape (probably my favorite style), and if Kershaw would make a larger version, in a 2.75-3" blade length, I'd be all over it, as it would be a good alternative to the Benchmade 3551 Stimulus that I've wanted for a long time, but can't seem to dish out the $$ for. Anyone have one of these mini's they can comment on?

No experience with the 4 but seriously considering the 5 or 7! Hope someone chimes in!

The 3 and 5 are also on my radar for the future, but since our CA trip is coming up, I think I may pick up the 4 sooner than later. Although very small, I think the 4 would accomplish 90% of my daily tasks, which aren't much, most of the blades on my knives still look new, and the ZT0350 I carry is likely way overkill for my uses.
