Back in the 80's, Bruce's Bar in Severance would lease you a shooting blind for geese.
We would show up at 4:30 a.m., have a great breakfast, and then you would be assigned your blind.
He gave you directions and checked up later in the morning.
Give them a call and see if they still are doing that at 970-686-2320
Also, their claim to fame is the Rocky Mountain Oysters.

If you are looking for waterfowl, I would have to see if there are any open spots, I think it is a 4 man group, little pricey but some of the best access you will find anywhere on the front range. PM me if interested and I?ll talk to my friend to see if they are looking for another group.
I might have to tell my wife about Tomky--she is really into lip rippin'. I'm mostly a upland and big game guy. I've been curious to try waterfowl but not ready to commit to something like that. Thanks for mentioning it, though.

I was in Bruce's for lunch yesterday they do not do this anymore that I am aware of. The land in that area is tied up by many guide services, one of the best is the guys from Last Pass they have lots of lands and can call the ducks and geese very well. Jim had this area tied up tight for years but after shooting at people, well a few felonies latter you lose all your rights to do much of anything with a gun.

I'm not in the market now. Suffering some nasty nerve damage from a spinal injury last year, I'm lucky I can still walk - for now. May never hunt again.
