Generations from now when nobody knows anything about slavery ever existing those people who will find themselves enslaved can blame their ancestors who chose to forget.
This is insane! Are people in power THAT afraid to stand up and oppose crap like this?? IT IS OUR HISTORY...period!
Mt. Rushmore is no doubt a target of these clueless idiots and if they get their way, that's going to be a bad day.
I am 99.98% sure that at least one of my ancestor was a slave/servant and at least one had slave/servant in past 800 years.
I am 99% sure their great^10 grandparents did too.
It's things like this that make me wonder if there's a conspiracy to gas light me everywhere I go. All great people have something less than perfect in their past. Maybe you grandpa drank too much, maybe a great uncle smoked too much. I'm assuming I'm going to get chastised for my harm of the environment in my youth with my many dirty V8 cars. You cant judge the past by today's benchmarks.
Everyone said we were crazy by saying that removing civil war monuments was the start of a slippery slope to remove more.
