    Default Refinishing some 16" rims

I have a second set of rims for a 2003 Toyota Sequoia. They have seen better days and I was looking for someone who can sandblast them. I haven't decided on whether I will rattle can them or have them powder coated, but first thing first: get the tires off and get the rims sandblasted.

    Any suggestions?

Take 'em to Blast Tech in Englewood. They'll blast them, and they partner with a powdercoater. Select the color you want and pick 'em up the next week. I had a Willys CJ5 frame, axles, and other parts done there, very pleased.

You'll have to have the tires off first though, any tire shop will do that.

Thank you both. I will check into both of those leads.

Definitely sublet the work. I got roped into helping a family friend and my services were offered to blast a set of steel wheels for him. What a pain. Whatever they painted them with back in the late 1960’s was some pretty tough stuff. And thick. I thought maybe I could just glass bead them but ended up switching to some pretty aggressive silicon carbide media and it was still a pain.
