Any place in Denver repair power seats/heated seats?

My 2004 Suburban is the first vehicle I've ever owned with power seats. It has the standard 6-way setup (seat forward-backward, seat upward-downward and seat back recline-upright.)

The up-down feature has never worked since I bought the Suburban used in 2015, nor has the driver's side heated seat worked since I got the truck in 2015.

But now I would like to see if I can get the up-down on the power seat fixed as well as the seat heater, since this has gone from being a summer-time trailer hauler to a semi DD for me and/or the wife.

I know there are YouTube videos on how to reinstall the seat heaters but AFAIK they all require removing the seat from the truck. I was just wondering if there was a company in the Denver area that might be able to do either or both jobs for a reasonable fee? I know I could try to do it myself but I'm not sure I'm up to removing a power seat. I could probably do it but it would take me at least a full day and of course during that time the truck would be out of commission so if I could find a place to drop it off and have it done.

I know both of these are common problems on these trucks so I figure I can't be the only person who's ever wanted to have this done. Obviously if it's too expensive I'll just live with it for another couple of years until I sell this truck but if I could get it fixed at a reasonable cost I'd do it.

The seat heater likely needs the heating coil replaced. It’s kind of like an electric blanket between the seat cover and the cushion. Definitely want to take the seat out of the vehicle to remove the seat covers. The not going up and down part might be in the switch. You could likely replace that part yourself. I would google a schematic and check the switch out first.

As far as a recommendation for someone to do the work, I’ve got nothing. Sorry.

Might be best to bite the bullet and take it to a dealership like Bozarth's, someone that's seen and fixed those problems before. At least get a quote from one anyway.

I don't think it's the switch or the motor, I can hear the motor trying to work when I push the button. Makes me think the linkage between the motor and the seat has a broken or stripped gear, broken cable, etc.

Pro Import Auto is who I use for general repairs. They've been great for our two cars.

PDA Road Gear installed heated seats in my Xterra, not sure if they do repairs on them.

At worst you might try getting quotes from the different Chevrolet dealerships in the area.

My Buick used flexible steel cables that ran from electric motors to the gear system that moved the seat.
The cables got tired and died. You can check online for the parts and what they cost. Figure out which part of the adjustment has failed and find the cable to order.
Getting my seat out was four nuts and unplugging the power cord. Then threading the seat belts out the holes.
Other option is finding a salvaged truck with the same seat.

I have had heated seat elements replaced in several GMC/Chevy Yukons. I actually think I may have the heating element thing for the driver's seat from my 04 yukon. Brand new OEM in the box.
Let me check tomorrow afternoon.
As far as getting them replaced when mine went out, the dealership sent the seats out to another shop to do the work. I think that is normal as the standard dealership shop people don't know what to do. May be different now, but first I would check with the lead above for the dude that had aftermarket heated seats put in. Will probably save ya a bundle.
Let me check my garage tomorrow and see if I have that part. Would save ya some money. No charge. Just have to come pick it up.

You might try auto upholstery shops. They are probably the ones who do it for the dealers in some cases.

Yep, I emailed a couple of upholstery shops this morning. I'm leery of dealers for a number of reasons, and assume (as you said) that for specialized work like upholstery they likely farm it out to an upholstery shop anyway so there's no reason for me to deal with a middleman.
