Default Recommendation for gun shop to sell some Merkel O/U shotguns

Can anyone recommend a gun shop in the Denver/Boulder area for consignment sales of a couple of shotguns? My father can’t hunt anymore and has a couple of Merkel O/U shotguns (a pre-WWII 310E 12 gauge and a E. German (DDR) era 2116 EL 16 gauge) that he’d like to sell.

    Thanks

Gunsport off 14th/Arapahoe-ish (near Boulder High), Ross is the owner. He deals mostly in that sort of stuff.

Better off selling on gunbroker yourself than consignment in a local shop. You are going to end up with half of what they are worth at best.

MW Reynolds is who you seek. They moved downtown, but they handle medium to high end guns. If it doesn't fit what they do, they'll tell you and then you should go to Gunsport as someone said. But if they are really decent guns, I'd hit up MW Reynolds first.

Ross at Gunsport will put them on Gunbroker and charge 20% for consignment (he pays all of the fees for GB out of the 20%). He also has good exposure in the shop. The Gun Room in Lakewood is also a good option for these higher end platforms.

MW Reynolds is a fine shop and is very well know as a dealer in firearms of this quality.

Thanks for the suggestions! For HBARLeatherneck - I'll try getting the guns out and post pictures soon.

Gun Room would be the best to me for rare/high end shotguns. But as others have said, I'd do the work yourself and post it on GunBroker to save yourself a lot of money and target the entire country instead of one small city area. Have way better luck that way to me.

Not close but Ark Tactical would.be the place I would put my guns for consignment. Good traffic and always treats COAR15 members good.
