    Default Scantool?

Hey guys, I need access to a scantool in the Greeley area for a couple of days.

I am troubleshooting a random misfire condition on my 2003 Suburban 5.3 flex.

My code reader does not give any misfire info, so I do not know the individual cylinder misfire counts.

Bonus points if it is capable of performing the crankshaft position variation learn function

I am willing to rent, trade services, barter, etc......

I would purchase one myself but just can't afford to drop $800 at the moment

    THANKS!

I have an EFI Live autocal that 'may' work. It was used to tune my cummins and I know it reads codes on my truck but not sure on other vehicles. You are welcome to try it and see if it will work?

thanks for the offer, looks like it might give me misfire data but I would have to purchase a license to use it.

I think it will only read and clear codes but that is about it.

yeah, and my code reader will do that, but I need to get the actual misfire counts for each cylinder, which my reader can not do

If you have Android and a ODBII Bluetooth you can use Torque.

This says misfire counts PIDS are active.

Are you getting any codes at all? Can't you only access a misfire counter through mode 6 on a scanner or am I remembering wrong. Been a long time since I messed with a vantage

Have you done lower intake gaskets on that yet? If you get ahold of a scan too look at your long term and short term fuel trims(I forget which one it is) the lower intake gaskets are extremely common on that and cuse it to run lean. Easy repair too
