So, I did some searching and I didn't see a thread on this, so I though I'd kick it off.

What types, brands, etc. of grease are you using when you install the barrel nut on an AR-15 rifle?

I heard this is a popular grease as it contains no graphite and is recommended by the M-16 TM:

Personally, I've used wheel bearing grease - provided it does not contain graphite. Such as: https://www.amazon.com/Valvoline-VV2.../dp/B000CQ6L3C

There are a metric ton of thoughts on this and if Rob still frequents the forum I would like to hear his input on this as well. Curious to hear what Bert has to say as well. Always like hearing from the pros.
