    Default Deck builder recommendations

Looking to have a deck built. About 350 sq ft with about 475 sq ft concrete patio. Located in Castle Rock.

Anybody here in the business or have any referrals?

    Thanks in advance.

My mom & dad just had their old, crappy deck removed and a new one built by Vivax Pros. Nothing particularly fancy from a style perspective, but it's Trex decking and has the drainage system so everything is dry underneath. I don't know where they fell in terms of price . . . I doubt they are the cheapest option out there, but they did a nice job. We had Vivax paint and replace some windows last summer and they were solid.

Our patio cover was done by Denver Decks about 10 years ago and we were happy with their work.

My neighbor is building a killer deck for his Grandma. If you want I could take a few pics and if you like have him call you?

    I will look into vivax.

I would be interested in your neighbor.

Getting a few bids and the first one just seemed outrageous for the size of the project. I am either ignorant or the $38,000 bid I got was completely out there. Opinions on that quote would be appreciated.

These guys did some warranty work for me a few years ago. I use a product from Home Depot like Trex that fell apart. This company was in charge of replacing the decks with Trex.
They did a fantastic job and were very easy to deal with. I have had several customers use them with rave reviews as well.

I will talk to my neighbor next time I need him. I think he just comes over to work on the deck on the weekends.

I know its a drive from Castlerock but Deck Superstore in Commerce City might have some recommendations. It's a great place to visit for ideas and they have good prices.

    Thanks folks.

Tried banell but have yet to hear back from them. Business must be booming cause I had a few not wanting to touch “smaller” projects. Nothing under $25,000.

Shit, I’ll do it on my free time for 20k.

I’ve built a couple decks. The last one was 400 sq for and cost me $3k in materials.

475 of grey concrete should cost under $4k.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

Thanks sniper. I would do it myself if time permitted and would prefer to. So far one bid at $85/ sq ft with Trex and one at $99/sq ft with Timber Tech.

Concrete is all over the place as well. Just had a guy quote $20/ sq ft for plain grey.
