    Default Furnace issues. Help please.

So, with today's awesome winds, my furnace is inop. I believe it is due to differential pressure causing it to shut down to prevent CO problems.
I have the fresh air intake and furnace exhaust on the back of the house. Both are 4" and turned facing down.

Any suggestions? Temp is dropping at home and I'm fresh out of ideas to get it running.

Stand in front of the vents and block the wind?

Seriously, it may not even be weather related. I’d likely start with the simple stuff. Filter clean? Batteries in thermostat good (if equipped)? What about the flame sensor?

    Good luck.

Thermostat is a Nest, fully charged, reporting no errors. Nest is currently set to heat. and is reporting a valid attempt to do so.
I think the furnace is a Nordyne or something (wife is home, I am not). Solid red LED, blinking green (no pause).
Fan runs, but burner will shut down after firing for just a few seconds.

Furnace came new with house less than 1.5yrs ago.

Clean your ignition sensor first with some sand paper

flame sensor.. Clean it and you'll be working right.... Then get rid of that stupid Nest... They suck and I hate them..

If you want a Wi-fi talk to me and I'll get you set up. Just stay away from those Nests... They suck and I hate them.

Yep, flame sensor, had to clean mine this year, some emery cloth and then wiped it down with some alcohol. Good as new

Sounds like you weren’t getting enough pressure differential across the draft inducer switch. We had our pressure switch go out last year. The furnace would get the “on” signal, the draft inducer motor would turn on, but with the switch not working it would shut the whole thing down.
