    Default Application Deadline Approaching

Just a reminder deadline is in 11 days (April 3rd).
With the new account setup requirements, they are suggesting not to wait until last minute.

I did mine the other day. Like the new system. Did 3 accounts, one for each of the boys and myself. Took 12 minutes per account to set up, apply for 4 species and get the small game combo licenses.

If your info is not in the system, or you have to email verifications, that is the slowdown.

You beat me to it! I was gonna post a reminder tonight.

I like the new system too. It was very smooth for me.

Every year it comes sooner than I think. Thanks for the reminder. So we don't have to pay until we actually draw tags now? Is that correct?
Well, you pay the auxiliary fees up front right?

    Excellent!

Is it also true you don't have to pay for your fishing license until you catch a fish? If so, I'm due for years of refunds...

Seems I read, if you've renewed your DL within the last six months, you have to do something "special". Maybe go in person somewhere? Sorry, I don't remember and can't find it right now. Maybe someone else saw it also?

You have to email documents, or go in person.

That was I that had the issue getting credit for being a resident because I had just renewed my license. In the interest of full disclosure, I had let my license expire and was in the grace period when I renewed. So I think I may have gotten a new "Issue Date," and that is my problem. If the "issue date" on your license is six months or older, you should not have a problem getting credit for being a resident. Just wanted to clear that up.
