Went to the Denver Auto Show and got in a GMC Canyon Denali. It was a crew cab short bed with the Duramax diesel. I’m Ford guy, who owns a Tacoma, and I specifically went to the Show to see the 2019 Ford Ranger. That Denali has me rethinking my options.Very impressed with the interior design and quality of the materials. I may have to go and test drive one tomorrow. BTW, the Denali was stickered at $48K

I was at the auto show, saw the line up of Ford, Chevy, GM. I really liked the Canyon Denali as well, but you're right, $48k is serious cash.

The Dodge trucks were impressive, huge engines with prices to match. Lots, and lots of electronics and leather.

It is my opinion only, but never run trans or differential fluid more that 25k miles before changing it out.

I won't need to refuel to commute to work (44 miles r/t) until the first part of May.

I’m hoping my next company truck will be a Ford half ton with their new 3.0 diesel. Supposed to get about 30 mpg. I hate having to stop for fuel everyday couple of days.

The Ford F-150 diesel hits the 30 MPG mark according to the EPA:

The EPA is a government entity. I wouldn’t trust them.

Bumping this tread. I am in the market for a new truck. Going smaller. Currently have a 2500 Silverado 6.0. Colorado ZR2 diesel is in mind. It has been a year since everyone talked about this. Still loving? Any issues?

Default The older trucks were great...

My Silverado NBS 2500HD is killing batteries. Some auto forums say this is the radio drawing power while the truck is turned off. I have pulled the fuse that powers the radio/onstar to charge the battery. I am at the point I will never buy another GM product again. They are badly designed. Dealer wants $95 to guess what it is. Last year another GM product I own left me stranded, $35 part cost me $400 at dealership.
