    Default Garage Plans

I wanted to see if anybody on here does plans. I need a set drawn up for a garage.

Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.

This will be a two level 24x28 garage next to my house; I already have an outbuilding. There is nothing special in phase one; I just need to get it up, and I will finish it off a little at a time. The second floor will be completely open with full length windows across one of the 24' sides, and wrap around the corner of one of the 28' sides. There will be two 7x9 garage doors, two man doors, and about 4 or 5 basic windows on the garage level. There will be no heat or electrical to start.

i was mainly wondering if somebody did CAD drawing on the side that I could pay them to make for me. I wasn't sure if anybody did that on the board or not.

Congrats on your garage; it's always nice to see one come together, and I'm sure you will enjoy it. I looked at a lot of plans like these, but I have something very specific I need done so I'll need to get a set of plans written for me.

This is what happens when you get older. It just takes a little longer to get started and then to finish things.

Good luck with the garage. The wife has been pushing my to get started on ours as well. It is an attached garage, but around the same size. I have a lot of digging to do as it is sunken into a hillside.

You are going to need a structural engineer as well.
