    Default GMU 50 - Archery

Anyone else hunting GMU 50 during archery season?

If so, post up which tag(s) you got. I'm planning to be out each week from Sunday mid-day to last light Tuesday.

I didn’t draw anything but points this year, but I’ve muzzle loaded 50 for elk in the past. Good luck this year, keep us posted.

We muzzleload in 49, 57, 58, and 581. So pretty close, but not close enough to give you any advice. Except go into a walk in area, and walk in further than everyone else does.

I know where I want to focus. I'm not aware of any walk-in only in 50, just 501 9I should confirm that). There certainly are areas where the forest road takes you to a certain point that to go further you must walk to push deeper.

Mainly looking to see if anyone else will be out. Maybe put our brain cells together on scouting, or if anyone gets anything and needs help packing out, etc.

Neither myself or my buddy drew deer, so if anyone drew deer and no elk, I wouldn't mind someone tagging along. I'll probably have deer coming up to be petted since I have no tag
