    Default Which AR .22LR

Newbie here, please keep the flame low...

Looking for another AR format in a .22lr, no conversions. I have my own range and the family enjoys .22's
Have a Colt in the M16 version, great fun. Dumped the GSG5. Waiting for the Sig 522 but not available.
    So, Remington, S&W, Ruger?
    Thanks!

flames pending !! I just bought the S&WMP15-22 a few weeks ago. I like it because the controls are like my AR. So a lot of stuff I have around here is compatible with it. You can get extra mags at 44MAG.com for $17.95 each. I put a red dot M3 clone with a high mount (for co-witness) on it for $79 from primaryarms.com. That's my .02 but I'm your first reply

Rugers offering is just a fancied up 10/22 so that is lame to me. S&W seems fine but I don't like the plasticy feel to it. Plus removing the forend is a pain.

So basiclly I am of no help.

You can make a spanner wrench out of a piece of pipe in a few minutes I've been told.
