Both of out gates are 12' 3 rail units. There's a plethora of solar openers (Battery not incl) out there. Who & why?

Look around at what your neighbors have would be a good indicator as to what works good out there in the wastelands.....

Just be the one that is always driving. That way out of courtesy, your passenger will need to get out to open the gate.........![]()

My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."
I've been using the Mighty Mule 500 on Mom's 16' single gate for years now. Just have to shovel a little snow now and then because the gate opener hates pushing the heavy wet stuff. Use a battery box, a lawnmower battery and a 5-10 watt solar panel aimed south. Replaced the battery once in 12 years. Have a couple of the wireless keypads mounted on pieces of conduit pounded into the ground(one inside the fence to get out, one outside to get in), for when folks without transmitters come around. Works great even if the wireless range is kinda short. Tractor supply and Murdoch's have them in stock usually.
