    Default Kitchen sharpener

Is this a good choice for a hitchen knife sharpener? I would probably use it for a few carry knives but mostly for my good ja henckels kitchen knives.

Anything else I should look at? Ive never done a stone sharpening set-up.

I like that. Seems pretty versatile and the you tube reviews are positive for performance and longevity. Thanks Newracer.

Get the ken onion worksharp. Easy to use and razor sharp results. I’m always playing with mine.

I stole one from my buddy. Use it all the time.

Now that I think about it. I need new belts.

I have one too but have not used it much yet. I did sharpen a hatchet with it and it worked well.

He stole your chainsaw, so you stole his sharpener?

The kitchen one is a pretty version of the one everyone likes. The basic Worksharp is the one I bought. Was a Christtmas sale item. Not the only sharpener I use, but great for kitchen knives. As others have mentioned in a similar thread, practice on a junk knife. It's easy to wreck the tip.

I bought the Edge Pro whetstone system. I love it, it gets my knives crazy sharp.
