Brief history, I got the gun a few years ago from whatever sporting goods store was going out of business. It was completely stock and I put maybe 50 rounds through it.
I recently switched to a Blackhawk Axiom stock and TacSol light, threaded bull barrel. I changed everything over in the middle of the night and in a bit of hurry. After switching everything over, I noticed that when I pulled the bolt back, it felt like it was binding up around half-way back.
When I had the time (tonight) I tore everything down (did not remove barrel) and cleaned and lubed everything. It still feels about the same, if not a bit better. Seems like if I rack the action like I mean it, it's pretty smooth. If I try to go slow, it feels like it binds a bit at the half way mark.
It does feed and eject just fine when manually operated, but I've yet to shoot it with the new barrel and stock. I do not remember ever operating the action from when I first got the gun, so I'm not sure if this is normal. It honestly kind of feels like it binds less if I grab the outside of the bolt release, as opposed to getting my finger as close to the receiver as I can. Any ideas?
