    Your going to be waiting a long time and paying dearly for Sullivan.
    BLO will work but as mentioned it takes a long time to get a nice finish, when I restocked my Garand it took me 3 months to get a finish I liked.
    Tung oil type finishes are considerably faster as they have a dryer component to them.

    Do be aware though most oil type finishes offer minimal water resistance.
    While easier to repair an oil finish it is also the least protective as a general statement.
