Stop teasing and post a picture. This could be a 5 minute job on a CAD software.
Wanted to clarify an earlier thought that if the gun in question was ever mass-produced, there's a reasonable chance that prints/schematics can be obtained, making measuring & modeling a moot point (and you can just find someone to mill custom parts to-spec).
Mind if I ask what mfr/model it's from?
Do you have a complete, existing part for engineering? If so I can likely help you out. You still work at the same location (which makes for an easy meet up, if I recall)?
