Are they using the Zulu 7 10x42 optics as a platform?
Ordered a pair for a great price. I wanted to have a bino, range finder send data to my Kestrel AB. It will also back feed the Kestrel AB data to the bino’s if I wanted a quick solution with my Kestrel in my backpack.

I thought about a bino combo, but not sure I'm ready for that jump yet.

I think for rifle hunting it would no brainer. One piece less gear.

Generally I agree and have been peaking into the world of quality optics. I'm not ready to spend the money on quality binos yet, and unless I'm wrong, it seems like adding a range finder function will just push that move further down the road.

I hunt a lot, about 20 days a year (big game). I do not like the combination of bino and range finder, and most of the avid hunters I know don't either. Binos, LRF, spotter, monocular for different types and conditions. The cost for quality glass in a LRF bino is significant, especially in the 10x or 12x range, which is where I like to be for binos.

I’ve got the KILO2400ABS and it never ceases to amaze me with how it ranges. I’ve ranged horses and cattle at over 1500 yards, signs and buildings over 1900. The limitation is how steady you can hold it while ranting smaller targets but with a tripod or solid rest it does very well.

I went ahead and ordered the SIGKILO2200. I used the 11% off coupon and got it for $390.

I got to play with the Nikon Black 4K today. Pretty cool. we didn't range 4000 yards (only 1200 or so) but very good little piece of gear. I hope more rangefinders with better lasers will be coming out soon.
