Close. I think it?s more near the Berthoud or Johnstown exits.

There was another one near Tower and 88th ish thats closed down as well. Guess the road race guys all have to head out to High Plains now.

Pueblo motorsports park for those in the south. PPIR also has a small internal road track.

Check out the SCCA or NASA websites for their sanctioned events.
High plains has open lapping days.

I?m pretty sure he means i25 and rd 34 not hwy 34. It?s at mead. Which makes you both correct. Just north of Longmont near the berthoud Johnstown area

Yep. Mead exit off of 25.

Miller Motorsports had a deal to buy it, renovate, and run it, but the whiny ho's in Mead blocked it because they didn't want "the racing types" near their precious little dum...er... town...

We got run off of that track in HS when we went and rode dirt bikes on it...

The track at Mead was initially opened by George Raterink and called Mountain View Raceway, and later after a change of ownership Continental Divide Raceway. It was open until about 2004-5. Second Creek was at 88th and Buckley until about 2007, when nearby development forced it and Rocky Mountain Speedway (dirt oval next door) to close.
