I didn’t really see a whole lot of major changes based on what I typically hunt. Anyone see anything glaring?
I was hoping they would alllow bear baiting again. If they really want those conflicts to go down that is how you reduce numbers.
Archery elk and deer being set season, along with muzzle loader starting so close to archery season. Probably more changes in that arena than rifle. But I dunno since I don't hunt rifle seasons and have never cared about them.

Muzzleloader has started during the last half of archery season for as long as I've been hunting, which is only 6-7 years now.
"There are no finger prints under water."
Not a week after opening.
But, I don't think ML should even be then anyway, nor 9 days. I could have killed an elk every day I was out last season during ML overlap if I'd not been out with a bow; I realize that was largely area dependent and might have only been that year, so don't crucify me if ML has been unsuccessful for others. I think they need to bump 1st Rifle back and let ML guys get the tail end of the rut, whereas 1st Rifle still has calling opportunity in its current season.
Either way, it looks like they might not have gone with the ridiculous OTC change they were talking about, but they might have an just used different phrasing.

Yeah, I was hoping muzzleloader would go after archery, then a short break then rifle seasons run.
Elk muzzleloader has almost always been around the 10th for a start date, just seems earlier in the archery season since they are pushing that back a week

Archery looks to be the same, they were debating on cutting the length of the season down but looks like they decided not to.
