Like everything else it will depend on what you have. As in gun colecting and so on there is stuff that was mass produced and not really worth anything and other stuff that if you know what you are looking for will bring big money, if you dont want to spend the time to research what you have value wise as well as spending the time dealing with buyers and shipping just sell it all as a single lot on ebay. Start it as a penny no reserve auction. You should get what its worth on the used market, if there is anything of value in there someone will get into a bidding war.
