I just got a Turkey license which I wanted anyway.. A small game license is a no brainer anyway, last year while I was Elk hunting on my otc tag I could have shot 5 grouse within 10 feet of me if I wanted. Many ways you could take advanntage of the additional license. In a way the additional license culls out some of the out of staters that people were complaining about last year whenthey removed the down payment part of the draw so I would guess that a number of out of staters on the fence simply wont apply which should be a plus for us.

Grouse are very good eating...would make the camp food that much better

I don't care about record books, my only hunting goal is to take every big game species in Colorado. I have taken elk, mule deer, antelope, and last year I took my mountain goat. So that leaves white tail, bear, moose, Rocky mountain bighorn, and desert bighorn.
