Application Deadline Approaching

After 7 years of applying and collecting points I finally drew my antelope buck tag for unit 87 (pawnee). I was wondering if anyone has hunted it before and has any tips. I plan to scout, etc in September but wondering if anyone was familiar with that area and wouldn't mind me asking them a few questions? Looking forward to breaking out the 1980's Winchester Mod 70 featherweight in .257 Bob for the first time in a long time. Thanks in advance!

Well, even within the Pawnee Grasslands there is a significant amount of private land so get OnXMaps or another app that will be able to tell you if you are on private or public. Huntscore (https://huntscore.com/hunts/co/prong...7-bd5cbae87f57) doesn't rate that GMU all that high (pretty low on public access) and honestly all of the times I have gone up there to shoot (I go pretty deep in to the grasslands to some areas where you won't see another person the entire weekend) I haven't seen many antelope. There are a number of water troughs for cattle out there though so I would get on Google Earth and find all them that you can and then scout those areas.
