Default Need advice on new or refurbed cell phone

Wife and I are getting ready to travel overseas soon and just found out her phone won't work over there due to the fact it's an older model. She has said she wants to upgrade but she doesn't need the latest or greatest either. We want to take our phone versus buying a cheapy once we get there so we can keep our number and not try to figure out how to tell my 90yr old mother we have a new number.

So anyone have a source for refurbed/ out of box Galaxy S6 or newer phones?

I got my s7 on Amazon refurbished. I went thru one that was not acceptable. To get this one for a reasonable price. Not much issue with returning the one with screen problems. As long as you have time to sort thru them it worked for me.

I just bought a NOS Samsung S7 for $170 off of eBay. Beats what the newest cost.

This was locked to Cricket but there are unlocked ones for around the same price by other sellers. He might have some, I never looked. I got this because I've been on cricket since 2005 so it didn't matter that it was locked. I never looked at CDMA ones.

Samsung Galaxy S7's are available all over the internet at around $200.00. I think they are one of the best cellphones made.
