Default Does anyone work at a Ford dealer that can get a window sticker for me?

I'm in the process of buying a used F-150 but apparently the window sticker is only available to Ford dealers now. Is there anyone who can run the VIN and get the window sticker? There's a specific option I'm looking for and the seller (non-Ford dealer) can't say for sure whether it has it, although it likely does (the feature in question is the 36 gallon fuel tank.)

    Thanks in advance!

Call the ford dealer it came from, with the vin # and they'll tell you the options & equipment it came with.

    You can try this site:

or Google "free VIN lookup" and there may be one that helps

I can tell you what the truck thinks it has from the factory with the vin. I would download the as-built data and compare to my spreadsheet as to what is supposed to be programmed into the BCM

Entertaining, but I tried my VIN to see how accurate the info is. A lot of generic info. It even got the gas tank size wrong, which was the question at hand. Could have been 23 (standard) or 36 (optional), but the site said 33 gallons.

Call any Ford dealership, ask for parts, give them the vin number and ask for the build sheet. That will give you every option that it was optioned with.

Looks like it might use the same info as the other posted NVM

That only shows the basic model info on my truck. None of the optional equipment that's on the sticker I have, not even the HO engine that was standard on the mid year models (bought new).

Crawl under and take a peek. The larger tank sticks quite a ways forward of the front tank strap and is flat in that area. The smaller tank starts tapering up pretty much in front of the strap.
