What is this port on the wife?s computer?
I think the one on the left might be some sort of new fangled USB port but what is the one that looks sort of like an abbreviated HDMI port?

Yes, and the ++ by the DisplayPort means that it can convert to HDMI or DVI with just a passive adapter, if required.

Well I picked up a cable that should go in the dickfer hole or guzinta slot or whatever it is and has a HDMI thingy on the other end. Hoping I?ll be able to set the dual monitors up for my wife for her work-from-home days.
