I like it and might try using trekking pole part of your system. I've played with using trekking poles as a bipod support but keeping them together is awkward. Using the wrist strap to link the poles is a simple fix. I have used a graphite camera monopod with a yoke attachment for a rifle rest for pronghorn. It works fine. The monopod leg extends pretty quickly but it's still a monopod, and heavier than a trekking pole. I'd like to have`a threaded camera attachment for the Carbon Z trekking poles so I could use the yoke, but they don't make them. I've seen a trekking pole with a camera attachment but it's much heavier than the light carbon poles.
I'd like to see more detail on your rifle carrier. It looks like another I've seen, maybe a Kuiu or a gun bearer?
Any success?
