Default Worth selling die cast / hot wheels ?

Ive got this big box of die cast and hot wheels cars/motorcycles from when I was younger.
are they worth selling ? I can’t stand eBay. I have a small
go-bot collection that will be going too. Some of the boxes are kinda rough , but cars are all in good shape.

When we?re you younger? Late 80?s, early 90?s?

Some of the hot wheels and matchbox stuff from the 60?s and 70?s might be worth a few dollars but not sure about anything beyond that.

And I don?t even know what go bots are. Must have been well past my childhood when they came out.

    Good luck.

Ebay has largely destroyed the collector market for just about everything. Hotwheel redlines still have some value if you have any, only a fraction of what they used to though, and we're not talking "worth the time to sell/ship each one individually" (imho anyway). You'd be lucky to take your family out to dinner after selling everything based on the pic.

    ETA:
Honestly just go to ebay.com, you don't need an account, plug in the name of the hotwheels. Boom, you have an appraisal. Just prepare to be disappointed.

Yeah. Don't get your hopes up value wise. The collectors market, in general, has dried up. My late B-I-L has / had a massive hot wheels among other auto / toy collector related items.

When he passed we started looking in to value vs actual, Buy It Now $$. Every item was NIW / unopened, had to below average price it to get any interested parties. Needless to say his grandkids now have a nice collection.
