I’ve heard good things about them in Kansas, but don’t know how well they cover Denver. Will look into them again - thanks!

How is the coverage out near my place? We were on verizon previously, and had OK service, but the bill was almost $225 for 2 phones that I owned (no phone payment). Now on Sprint, and I have zero service here (have to toggle airplane mode to send SMS). Bill is better, but the service most anywhere is absolutely horrid. Constantly on roam. They refuse to send me an extender to plug into my home internet too. They say I dont qualify because I am "in a 4g service area".

I saw them putting in some fiber this summer to service their point to point home internet, but dont know if they put in cell with it.

Verizon and Viaero about the same in your area.

Pretty crazy since Sprint's HQ is in Overland Park, Kansas.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

But over 400 miles apart, on opposite sides of the state. HQ is in an urban area, I’m in a very rural area.

I've been there and you only get two or three bars. Back in the days of bars anyway.

I have Xfinity Mobile and have had 0 issues. The mobile bill for 2 phones and the gig of data we typically use with taxes and a phone purchase charge (2 x 7.50 for LG K-30) is $33.00 a month. They roamed just fine in Costa Rica a couple weeks ago.

Disclaimer, I work for Comcast and no, we do not get a price break on Xfinity Mobile.

Did you have to pay a monthly access fee to have it work outside the US? Nobody at Xfinity could really answer the traveling outside the US question and I mostly wanted to know about Mexico and Canada but we couldn't get any solid answers on the topic.

ETA: Looks like there's a couple of small hoops to jump through before your trip mentioned here. No real mention of how much it actually costs though for calls, texts or data while roaming.

Not a monthly fee, The roaming rates are posted here: https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/plan/international

The hoops were a call to the customer service number to have roaming turned on.

Here is another useful link: https://www.xfinity.com/hub/mobile/u...exting-calling

One of the other "hoops" is that you have paid at least one bill and are current. Probably not an issue for most reading this but just a point of clarification to avoid anyone making the switch as they leave the country for a vacation and expect their phone to just work.
