Curious about Summit County Range. Has anyone been out there this year so far?
Not talking about the current stay-at-home-order stuff, just more general info such as, does it get really crowded, wait times to use lanes, etc? I would figure any public range - especially one with no range fees - gets pretty full during mid-summer, is that right?
What are the facilities like? Do they have benches or shade of any kind?
The thing that appeals to me about Summit County vs someplace like Baker Draw is that there's other stuff to do in Summit county so it would be easy to make a day of going up into the mountains, doing some shooting and then also maybe going kayaking at Dillon reservoir or even just going on a hike. Whereas with Baker Draw, there's not a lot else to do other than shoot.
Anyway, even assuming that most stuff in Summit county is currently shut down, I'm curious to know if once things open back up it might be a decent place to do some shooting.
