    Default Listing guns for sale?

What is the best place to list a gun for sale? Armslist, gunbroker? What are the gotchas?

I have a preban AR that probably needs to find a new home in the occupied teritories, where they still allow preban ARs. I want to buy another gun and this should fund it.
    Thsnks.

I always list here first. If it doesn't move, then I move to Armslist and as a last resort, GunBroker. Keep in mind, GunBroker is going to take a cut and it will most likely need to be shipped to the buyer which will cut into profit as well.

Depends on the price. if you're on other forums that have a nationwide membership, i'd start there.

Here first and then Armslist with a price bump to account for the extra bs I go through.

I prefer to sell mine here just because the hassle and time consuming waste of shipping. I'd willingly take 10% - 15% less just to avoid having to pack the gun up and drive it out to the UPS facility to ship. But that's just me, I tend to value my time very highly.

For a preban AR you want to sell to one of the occupied territories, I would put it on gunbroker with a properly worded ad. And good pictures. That will maximize the value, those few states can?t get a new one so they are in demand.
There are a few of them up for auction at any given time. I recommend taking a hard look at a few of those ads.

I?d be curious to hear how it goes. I have a preban Eagle Arms I?ve been considering doing the same with.
    Never complain; never explain.

I know that some dealers will buy them. Damage factory has in the past and let them market it

Gunbroker if you want to reach people behind enemy lines. Too many scammers on armslist. No real gotchas on gunbroker, only accept some sort of money transfer that puts verified funds in your account, no bank checks money orders and so on.

This is the way I would go if you trying to sell across state lines. Many dealers will sell it for a small % commission on their gunbroker account.

I usually do armslist first to avoid shipping. I prefer not to go all the way to UPS hub to send a rifle.

Armslist has many many many tire kickers and some flakes. I only listed 3 firearms right now, and I get about 5 tire kickers emailing me daily. Just think of it as facebook market place without option of BLOCKING them.

Gunbroker has less of those flakes, but you need to pay the fee and ship it.
Higher end firearms does much better on GB.

Make sure you put many conditions on armslist such as:
Will ship to FFL only. WILL NOT ship.
    Payment options.
    Serious buyer only.
    Trade/no trade.
