We use a lot of ground turkey. Sam's club has five pounds (2 2.5 pound pkgs) for about $11, except when they're out.

Ground beef was running less than $3 per and chicken was in the $1.30 ish per range.

    Side note. I
remember when Red Bird (out of littleton) was first getting their product in to kings on Littleton blvd and s. broadway. Now it's all over the place. Both Frys (kroeger) and safeway, carry their chicken

I don't recall anyone mentioning this but Costco does sell meat by the case. Price per pound is a little less than individually packages and the cases weigh between 60-90lbs depending on what you get. My 78lb box of pork shoulder was $0.39/lb cheaper than the individual package.
There's a fine line between cuddling and holding someone down so they can't get away.
