    The side rib stampings are crisp enough to be polish or hungarian the finish looks like non painted polish and the large deep spot welds look post 1979 polish when things got a touch slopier during and after the solidaridy movement and labor strikes. Romanian would usually have a mkre parked looking finish and slopier less round upper spot welds. Not if the spine had a partially struck circle with an M in it then theyre earlier hungarian "man on the moon" mags which have a similar finish. Those are all my opinions and observations from all the collecting and duscussing ive done through the years

    As people said. It can be any eastern European mag. Those lines....
    I use to have bunch of East German mag like that.

    Every single east german mag ive seen and own have much crisper stampings on the ribs and all kinds of large letters stamped into the sides of the spine (alphabet mags as we called them) but there might be other less common variations im not aware of.
