Default Denver CCW Current Turn Around Time? [Covid19]

I just completed my CCW class, and submitted all of my documentation online with Denver using the online option they're offering during Covid, and paid my fees with a credit card.

Does anyone know how long it's taking to hear back to schedule the in-person appointment downtown?

I just want to have an idea if it's going to be a few days, weeks, months, etc.

    Thanks!

Mine took about 2-2 1/2 weeks from submitting online to getting my phone call to set the appointment.

Officially just hit one month with no contact from the Denver Sheriff after submitting forms and having my card charged.

What should I do at this point?

    From Concealedcarry.com:

How long will I have to wait to receive my permit?

Time can vary, but state statue requires that the local sheriff either issue or deny your permit within 90 days. If denied, the sheriff is required to notify you with a written explanation.

I just noticed Denver removed all of the links to their online application option... CCW is all mail-in-only now. I wonder if they were overwhelmed with requests.

That's not bad. The daughter and S-I-l in kern or tulare cty ? CA where they do issue permits. Called to see approx time frame for approval......................................

The sheriffs dept laughed and said. EVERYBODY that can, has applied for a CCW permit. Currently we're running 5-6 months turn around time.

    Could be worse:

    "Licenses to Carry Firearms
Hawaii’s county police departments also process license applications for the carrying of firearms in
public. Statewide in 2019, 162 employees of private security firms applied for and were issued carry
licenses, and three (1.8%) were denied. A total of nine private citizens applied for a carry license in
2019, including four in the City and County of Honolulu, three in Hawaii County, and one each in Maui
County and Kauai County; all nine applicants were denied by the respective county’s chief of police."

Just got my call to schedule the in-person meeting.

Submitted forms to DPD on June 7.
    Received call on July 23.
Can set meeting for week of Aug 10.

About two months total turn around... could've been worse I guess.
